Type Thursday SF — a community of lettering designers and typographers — made a post about presentation of the Unusual Alphabet.
Unusual Alphabet is an experimental project that researched capabilities of unusual media to create unique and new visual solutions in lettering. Dance movements and calligraphy reached a symbiosis in this project. I used my passion for dance and experimented with covering my feet in black ink and leaving traces on the paper that resemble calligraphy. Dance steps became a drawing tool and feet calligraphy turned into the Unusual Alphabet.
