This series of paintings was created during my life in Russia and Germany. Materials are gouache, acrylic, paper, and canvas. All paintings were created "en plain air" meaning "in the open air" which refers to painting outdoors with the artist's subject in full view. It enabled better capture of the changing details of weather, light, and colors.
