Responsibilities: work on the intersection of marketing, product and content creation; design astonishingly beautiful templates that serve
for various use-cases, formats and audiences; gather collective knowledge of graphic design principles, put it into a system and employ for educational purposes of the users; reach our team KPI of 5,000 templates for the year (3 designers in the team); gather collective knowledge of all possible graphic design compositions and determine best practices for template creations; write content for templates that emotionally appeals to customers; perform qualitative research for photographers user segment; plan and conduct interviews; come up with new app features that will improve user experience for the end users who create social media graphics.

Adobe Express has ready-to-use visual solutions for various use-cases and formats: flyers, Instagram posts and stories, business cards, Facebook posts, Youtube thumbnails and many more.
Endless Creative Possibilities and Golden Standards.
Templates are the key component of Adobe Express product. Users jump-start their inspiration with thousands of professionally designed templates and avoid Blank Editor intimidation. As a template creator I needed to stay on top of current trends and styles and also educate users on rules and standards of successful graphic design. Principles that were followed are information hierarchy for every use case, visual hierarchy, contrast, text legibility, color balance, compositional balance, white space, rule of thirds, alignment etc. By searching through templates and using them users subconsciously gain understanding of successful graphic design choices. Templates that I created also served in marketing campaigns as the first touchpoint with the Adobe Express brand.
More than 1,000,000 Template Remixes.
I created about a 1,000 templates. Just a 100 of my templates achieved over a million remixes. I am proud of this milestone and I am happy to share a list of these top templates with links for you to try them out. You can see a number of remixes if you open these links on iPad. Adobe Express iOS version shows a number of remixes for each template.
Design Turns into a Social Media Campaign Instantly. 
Any template can be resized for any channel with one click. A template can also be downloaded and scheduled to post. One of the key Adobe Express features is the automatic resize option with a single click. To make great templates it requires more than just beautiful visual design choices. I took into consideration the functionality of the Adobe Express app and made sure that templates resize properly within the break points, to avoid frustration for the users. Once the resize button is hit, all the design elements should stay in place. It determines user-friendliness and quick customization.
Organic Creation of New Features.
As a part of my assignment I was tasked to come up with ideas and prototypes on how to improve user experience in Adobe Express. I already spent a lot of time creating templates and researching UIs of social media platforms from product perspective. I noticed that there are some UI restrictions that needed to be reflected in graphic creation process for a successful first attempt outcome. If users don't know beforehand which exactly parts of the header will be cropped or blocked by other UI elements, it leads to the need of redesigning, which causes frustration. To avoid it and to improve efficiency I calculated grids for every social media header and suggested adding grid feature to template creation as well as improving sharing and publishing processes.
Adobe Spark (currently Adobe Express) was a new product and it went through rounds of brand iterations. Here is my experiment with logo animation.
Qualitative Research.
While at Adobe, I participated in qualitative research for Adobe Express templates. The research was focused on photographers who just started their career or other professionals who use photography as a complimentary skill in their practice. I prepared and led interviews. I explored the photographers audience segment and created user archetypes that became foundational for template design direction for that audience segment. During the interviews photographers expressed their perspectives, needs and wants. Understanding our audience was a key to empathy which helped me offer design solutions in the form of tailored specific graphical templates to meet users needs.
